The Center is a 12 bed, safe and therapeutic inpatient environment for adults who have a history of
trauma and diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. All
patients are assigned a primary therapist as well as an attending psychiatrist. The program
strives to educate patients about their illness, and emphasizes psychoeducation, psychotherapy,
expressive therapy and symptom management as core elements of the treatment plan. The
dedicated and compassionate staff is educated and experienced in dealing with trauma issues and
symptoms associated with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
There is an associated partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient program, The Day Center,
available for aftercare (see below).
